Split Rocker Coupe Service Plate
Split-Rocker (2000), by Jeff Koons, is a highly complex architectural structure covered with a million brightly colored flowers. It’s inspired by a rocking toy for children and is done in two parts—the “Dino” section (the head of a dinosaur) and the rocking horse section (the head of a pony). Koons collaborated with Bernardaud to translate this iconic sculpture into a porcelain service plate, created in a limited edition of only 2,500 copies.
