Medicom Toy’s mission to transform fine art into collectible BE@RBRICK figures continues with Jean-Michel Basquiat's Dustheads (1982), which sold at auction in 2013 for $48.8 million and features prominently on this eleventh collectible collaboration. Rising to fame in the ‘80s as part of the neo-expressionism movement in NYC, Basquiat's work celebrates histories of Black art, music, and poetry, as well as religious and everyday traditions of Black life.
