Although Keith Haring often created politically challenging artworks, he also wanted to communicate the importance of love and kindness to his audience. The embracing figures situated under a radiant heart in Untitled (Be Mine) created in 1987 cannot be identified by their age, race or gender. This was Haring's way of saying that love has no restrictions.
