Jean-Michel Basquiat’s In Italian (1983) brings together fragmented text, anatomical references, symbols, and layered figures in a densely worked composition. Created during a pivotal period in Basquiat’s career, the painting reflects his distinctive approach to combining language and imagery with references to history, identity, and the human body.

This magnet reproduces In Italian in miniature, bringing the details and vivid color of the original work to an everyday object.
