These are figures unafraid to express desire and assert their dominance, proudly taking up space. Din, one of Thomas's long-time muses, is clad in opulent fabric and adorned with glamorous hair and makeup. Here Din smiles joyfully, tilting her head back playfully while also projecting an edge, an air that she is not to be trifled with. This triptych is inspired by a painting Mickalene created in 2023 entitled Din avec la main dans le miroir et jupe rouge.
