In The Moon Over the Ruined Castle (2015), Takashi Murakami presents a luminous vision that marries traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary pop sensibility. Rendered as a hand-signed offset lithograph with silver printing leaf, this circular image captures a glowing moon hovering above a fragmented architectural form—perhaps a memory of what once stood. Limited to an edition of 300, each print is signed and numbered by Murakami himself.
